This residence for a bachelor was created out of a former garage. An open interior and restrained material palette
lend the compact plan a sense of spatiousness. The two enclosed spaces - the garage/workshop and shower/water closet - are clad
in wood, contrasting the existing brick walls and concrete floor and appearing as two distinct volumes.
